MICHELE' WILLIAMS, born in Rochester, New York, yet, raised in both North Carolina & Alabama, considers herself to be a pure "SOUTHERN GIRL." At a very early age, she was quite often teased by many of her Southern relatives and told that she was simply too "proper," only to realize later in life, that they were just very "country." She took that "proper" voice to radio at the age of 16.
In 1978, she pursued her love in radio. Michele' was able to speak and carry on with such profound articulation over the airwaves, that she used her great voice talents in other ways. By the age of 17, Michele' had seen and been where most 25-35 years old women had never been. She divulged in many other avenues, such as commentating, hosting, coordinating shows, concert promotions, radio news and high school sports reporting, as well as, having her own modeling troupe of 36 young models, which performed from 1978-1993, under her direction, in N.C.
Much of her career has stemmed within the broadcast arena for some 43+ years as a radio/television personality/host, which includes such Atlanta stations as WERD, Kiss 104.1, WATC-TV 57. Always with the spirit of fun, laughter, creativity & perseverance, not to mention the spirit of giving. She has always managed to stay one step ahead by allowing her "gifts" to "make room" for her. Michele' is not only gifted in the broad scope of the entertainment realm, but as a Playwright & Director, talent manager/ casting agent, promoter, masterful cook, special events coordinator, Spiritual & Motivational speaker, as well as a mogul in the wardrobe & clothing apparel industry and yes, HAT DESIGNER! Currently, she is the President of A.C.T II, Atlanta Casting and Talent II Premier Entertainment Group, LLC! The first African American owned full-service casting and talent agency in Atlanta, providing a wide array of phenomenal talent from actors to singers, dancers to comedians, to include productions in the theatrical stage play arena. Adding to this incredible repertories, ACT II Performing Arts Theatre & Gallery and ACT III Performing Arts Academy. Certainly, just as important, as a Screenwriter, embarking into the film industry with her first feature film, "Rising of the Son" (a mother's life matters). She is also Founder/Executive Director of the Urban Radio Reunion, preserving the life & legacy of Urban Radio Broadcast Pioneers, all over the country. In 2016, Michele' was honored/awarded a "Proclamation" in the State of Georgia and the City of Atlanta, 4 different times as a Radio Pioneer trailblazing "Woman in Radio!" Venturing out, writing, directing and producing, Inspirational Stage Plays, first "THE PATH" at the Atlanta Fabulous Fox Theater, 2006, with Vickie Winans, Joe Pace, Euclid Gray & Frank Ski; as Co-Writer and Director of Historical stage play "A NEW BIRTH OF FREEDOM" at Morehouse College in 2009 along with her 2009 AGAPE AWARD-WINNING hit play "SMOOTH TALKER" (He's Good At What He Does). Now, the Author of the same phenomenal page-turning story, in a 268-page novel, released in 2018 and written in May 1986. December 2011, receiving the honor for the Black Heritage Lifetime Achievement Award with her chronological mini play, "THROUGH THE EYES OF AMELIA" (August 2013). Now, as her second feature film, audiences will be blessed to get the untold story of Amelia Boynton, Civil Rights Icon, who passed away on Michele's birthday, August 26, 2015, at the graceful age of 110 years old. One who paved the way, along with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., for the 1965 Voting Rights bill, signed by President L.B. Johnson. She adds to her many talents movie credits, playing "extra cast roles" with such greats as like Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls, Madea Goes to Jail and Vivica Fox, in Motives II, just to name a few. Being such an opportunist, Michele' has allowed many of the who's who in all arenas, to encounter her stupendous personality, such as Oprah, Damon John; Artists-Babyface, Regina Belle, Frankie Beverly and Shirley Murdock; Comedians Mike Epps, Bruce-Bruce, Kym Whitley and Michael Colyar; Ambassadors-Andrew Young, Suzan Johnson Cook, Congressman John Lewis, Dr. C.T. Vivian and countless others.
